Is Friendify really end-to-end encrypted?
Direct messages are encrypted on your device with a key only the chat participants hold. Nobody at Friendify, and nobody at the underlying infrastructure provider, can read those messages.
Do I need a phone number to sign up?
No. Sign up with an email and a password, or use Google sign-in. We don't ask for your phone number and we don't scrape your contacts.
What does the AI do?
It summarizes long chats and answers questions about them — only when you explicitly ask. AI features are off by default for end-to-end-encrypted threads, and you can disable them entirely in Settings.
Is it free?
Yes. Friendify is free to use. There are no ads, your conversations are not for sale, and there is no paid tier today.
